At Alpine Day Camp, we believe that every camper deserves to succeed. To help facilitate the greatest possible success for each individual, our program is subdivided into three ability levels, based on the ages of the campers.
1st & 2nd Graders
The 1st and 2nd grade groups at Alpine Day Camp provide a nurturing and age-appropriate environment for the youngest campers to explore, learn, and build friendships. Led by caring and experienced counselors, the programs are tailored to the developmental needs of these young adventurers, offering a mix of engaging activities, games, and crafts that promote both social interaction and skill development. With a focus on fostering a sense of wonder and curiosity, the 1st and 2nd-grade groups at Alpine Day Camp create a foundation for positive experiences and lasting memories in the great outdoors.
3rd & 4th Graders
The 3rd and 4th grade groups at Alpine Day Camp provide an exciting and enriching experience for campers as they transition into more complex and dynamic activities. Led by experienced counselors, these groups engage in a diverse range of age-appropriate adventures, including team sports, arts and crafts, and nature exploration, fostering both individual growth and teamwork. With a balance of structured programs and free play, these groups at Alpine Day Camp create a supportive and enjoyable environment where campers can build skills, form friendships, and make lasting memories.

5th & 6th Graders
The 5th and 6th grade groups at Alpine Day Camp offer a dynamic and empowering experience tailored to the specific needs and interests of pre-teens. Guided by skilled counselors, these groups begin to lead themselves in a mix of challenging outdoor activities, leadership development exercises, and team-building adventures. Focused on personal growth and building strong connections, the 5th and 6th grade groups at Alpine Day Camp create a supportive community where campers can explore their interests, develop leadership skills, and forge lasting friendships in an enriching outdoor setting.
7th Graders
At Alpine Day Camp we offer an experience that allows our older youth to take charge of their program and often times other groups! We develop their leadership skills, allow them to make decisions regarding the schedule of activities and ask them to provide input into day-to-day operations. As we go through team-building adventures, our goal is to provide an environment of personal growth! Alpine Day Camp doesn’t even stop at the camper community!! Ages 13-15 can be Counselors in training and continue on their adventures at camp while developing real world work skills! Check out our CIT and Junior Staff programs!
