Our Program

Camp operates on weekdays from June 26th – August 18th, 2023

Program runs from 9:00AM – 4:00PM each day (drop-off at 8:30AM and pick-up at 4:30PM)

We have a number of awesome program areas throughout the camp, and we are working on developing exciting new programs for each and every one.  Here are some of the exciting things you’ll get to try at camp this summer!

Outdoor Skills

Learn to be self-sufficient in the wild.  Knots, lashings, first aid, fire building, outdoor cooking, map and compass, geocaching, and more.  Our campers gain some awesome experience that gets more difficult as they grow older.

Nature and Ecology

Let’s keep that one.

Target Sports

Campers will get the opportunity to shoot archery, BB, and wrist rockets at camp.  Safety is our primary concern when it comes to all target sports, and our staff is well trained.  All campers are given in-depth instruction and tips to ensure a safe day on the range. Determination is always painted on the campers’ faces as they try to hit the bull’s eye!  Ready, aim, fire!

Fitness Area

A personal challenging experience for all campers, who can complete our Fitness Course the quickest?  Program here emphasizes personal achievement and improvement over time. We also run campers through in both directions to ensure a challenge is always paramount.

Sports

This is good too.  There’s one reference to “Scouts” though, so we need to replace that with “campers”

Arts and Crafts

For those campers who enjoy creativity, this is the area they’ll look most forward to! Use your imagination to create impressive works of art, costumes, or even useful gadgets.  Centered around our Medieval Times theme this summer, campers will create their own sigil to wear proudly as they earn achievements in other areas.

Aquatics

Under swim tests, change to “Initial swim test will be required for all campers on their first trip to the pool.  Any camper wishing to retake their test to achieve a higher level must speak to a lifeguard at a subsequent session.  Swimming test will be administered under National BSA Aquatics Standards.” The rest is fine.

Activity Center

The Activity Center is where each camper will begin and end their day.  Games such as horseshoes, volleyball, and gaga are featured outside, while foosball tables, board games, and our indoor climbing wall promise rainy day fun!
