Alpine Day Camp boasts a diverse range of program areas designed to offer an unforgettable summer experience for campers. The camp was designed with younger campers in mind, with plenty for children to discover including multiple play areas and program facilities. Activity Center
The Activity Center at Alpine Day Camp stands as a vibrant hub of creativity and camaraderie, offering a dynamic space for campers to explore a myriad indoor activities. The center hosts our indoor climbing facility, a stage for performing arts and multiple play areas. Whether it is a sunny or rainy day, areas like the Activity Center at Alpine Day Camp ensure that every day is full of fun and excitement.
Outdoor Climbing & Teambuilding Center
At Alpine Day Camp, the climbing center serves as an exhilarating vertical playground, challenging campers to reach new heights both physically and mentally. With state-of-the-art climbing walls and expert guidance, campers can conquer challenges and develop resilience in a supportive environment. Complementing the climbing experience, the camp also offers teambuilding activities that encourage collaboration, communication, and trust, fostering a sense of community and friendship among participants as they navigate exciting challenges together.

Aquatics Center
The Aquatics Center at Alpine Day Camp stands at the center of our reservation, offering a vibrant and safe space for campers to cool off and to experience a variety of aquatic programs. This area features a 28K gallon pool staffed by certified lifeguards and swimming instructors. Our certified instructors guide campers through swimming lessons at a variety of abilities from non-swimmers to learning the 5 major strokes. During downtime, campers can participate in a variety of aquatic games and activities. With a focus on both skill development and water safety, the Aquatics Center at Alpine Day Camp provides a refreshing and educational haven for campers to build confidence and create lasting memories in the water.
Old West Area
One of the many themed areas of the reservation, the “Old West Area” features many different play spaces for campers to explore. Campers can explore our Western-Style Stockade Fort, pan for gold at our sluice or explore our underground “mines”. These areas also feature many of our performing arts sessions, allowing campers to learn all sorts of fun skits and songs. Campers can invent their own stories and acting them out for their fellow campers.
The Pirate Ship
A longstanding favorite of campers of all ages, the Pirate Ship features transports young adventurers to a world of imagination and swashbuckling fun. Anchored in the heart of the camp, this meticulously crafted ship provides a whimsical setting for children to engage in imaginative play and embark on imaginary voyages. With its climbing nets and hidden areas to explore, the pirate ship play area at Alpine Scout Camp not only entertains but also encourages physical activity and social interaction.
